Are Robots The Future of Social Media?

Quick question: Are robots, or bots, as they are commonly referred to, taking over the internet? Can you tell if you are networking with a real person or if it’s just an intelligent computer program? There is a war going on right now. And it’s not just a war of ideas, but literally for the right to survive on the internet, or though it would seem. Anyone who has had to close their blog to comments, knows what that means. Now with the popularity of social media, there is yet another battle, human against machine. Will the bots win or will the humans hold their ground?

It’s not to late, but this future could be closer than one thinks. You may see the day when you’ll hear, “have your bot contact mine to schedule lunch.” Well, it’s up to those who use social media to decide what the future holds.
